Scholarships
International Project on the Jewish heritage of Galicia and Bukovina at the University of Haifa and the non- profit organization Jewish Galicia and Bukovina have awarded in the year 2017 five scholarships to established and promising young researchers and students who are researching the history and cultural legacy of the Galician and Bukovinian Jewry until the eve of World War 2.

Archival Examination of Hasidic Mystics in Galicia
The grant will be used for detailed examination of archives throughout the former Galicia: Krakow, Tarnow, Rzeszow, Sanok, Przemysl, and Lvov, with the aim of collecting biographical details about mystics operating in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. See more.

Mr. Ezra Brom

Mr. Brom writes his MA thesis, titled: "Foundations of Nationalism in the writings of Nachman Krochmal and its acceptance in the circle of Ahad Ha'am" under the supervision of Prof. Jonathan Meir. He has a BA in both Jewish thought and psychology.
